Its not illegal to carry money, but if a large sum of money is found with guns or drugs it perfectly legal for the johnny hoppers to confiscate it

Believe it or not it is illegal to be found with large sums of money without a legitimate reason of how u got it ect..My dad has had excess of 30k taken from him on 3 seperate occassions by the men in blue.

Also when on a flight you must let the airline etc know if your carrying more then 10k in cash.

Declaring more than 10k cash is a requirement for international travellers, not domestic.

Fair enough.I generally have only ever travelled overseas.Got into abit of a barny with airport staff over me bringing 19k pounds back a few years ago.Eventhough i had documents to show i had lived in the old dart for over 18months playing footy they still tried their best to jump to conclusions.

Of course they would jump to conclusions with 19K pounds in your luggage. Why on earth would you carry all that cash in your luggage ? Very very strange.

Sally i think you will find thats what i was saying bushboy was just stating facts. and if it is the authorities that planted it they get the money back anyway so they dont loose a cent. Craig has had a few high profile cases and has gotten off so maybe the people in charge in WA are sick and tired of him so they set him up to put him away for a little while.

Each to their own & I'm sure Craig is man enough to sort it out himself.

And I must say it was great to see Craig walking William out to the ring on Friday night, Set up or not'.
