Round 1

Woodruff is styling on Buckland, switching stances regularly on the outside and popping in jabs on the body with either hand while drooping his shoulders and letting each fist dangle by his knees. Buckland is tentative jabbing up and stepping forward cautiously, mirroring Woodruff by also switching his lead foot and jabbing hand, but not reaching the head of Woodruff.

Round 2

More of the same here. Woodruff is ducking and strafing to his right, rolling along popping jabs and light 1-2s on the body as Buckland steps to him and jabs. Woodruff is easily controlling the distance and not letting Buckland in past the left or right jab or quick right hand lead from behind the back.

Iain Jackson is a late replacement for Wayne Brooks.

 

Round 3

Woodruff is still in control, dancing in and to either side of Buckland touching his body with jabs and short rights. Buckland manages to brush the face of Woodruff with a couple of swiping jabs and grins through his gum shield at him marching after. Woodruff bounces around, landing more pot shots.

Forget it, this isn't the main event - it's some exhibition match. I didn't see another "Craig" listed on the card's page on Boxrec and so assumed the fellow with the name on his trunks was Kennedy, having missed the ring intros.

It was Craig Woodruff vs. Mitch Buckland III, apparently.

 

Peter Ashton vs. Tom Price, 4 rounds @ light welterweight

 

Yeah, I gathered all that belatedly. :yep :!:

They have actually fought in the pros and had a rematch (Woodruff losing both) yet Woodruff looked the classier today.
