Cool, he has the punch power to do damage at that weight. Provided cutting down doesn't take to much out of him.

I'm glad to see Appleby settling down into a routine, too much of his potential has been wasted over the last couple of years through the split from Gilmour.

McEwan coming over could create a few good shows in Scotland and build on the media coverage that is finally coming back to the sport up here.

Im shocked, but kinda happy at this news! Happy I suppose cos Billy Nelsons got his hands on him, & as we can all see, Nelson is more than capable of polishing rough diamonds, like Burns McEwan has all the natural talent in the world, & if Billy can make the same tweaks he did with Burns to turn him into a world class fighter? That will make me a very happy man!
Like Ricky Burns I predicted here that Craig McEwan would also be a champion one day, you made my dreams come true once Billy so more of the same please:good

Interestingly, I believe Burn's and Mcewan fought in the amateurs. About 7 times if I remember correctly.

Billy, just saw you and Craig on the evening news, top marks for getting more exposure for the sport in Scotland.

14 times is crazy, they must have known each other inside out. Amazing how often boys were fighting back then, week in week out, sometimes twice a week.
