Roach was well out of order doing that to Craig:twisted: Last i had heard it was Freddies brother working with him, didnt know it got that bad though.

Looks like Roach only has time for Pac & Khan his cash cows nowadays, & to hell with everyone else:-(

No wonder mayweather snr called him Cockroach!!!

Couldnt agree more my good man, Craigs with the best now, & I cannot wait to see the real Craig McEwan! I have always told anyone here who will listen that McEwan had the potential to be a superstar, & now that hes with Billy?

    DUNKY EXPECTS:good

I like Craig, think hes a good fighter who hasd more potential to unlock. but what makes you think hes a budding superstar?

Buchananesque defensive skills, & an iron chin. With Billy getting him properly fit & motivated & no doubt punching with more authority? Expect to see a whole different Craig McEwan than you have seen before.

Want any proof? Look at the work Billy Nelson did with Ricky Burns, hes almost unrecognisable from the man who lost to Carl Johanneson, expect the same with McEwan, thats all I am saying...

    In Billy we trust:deal

Christ, you really thought getting knocked out by Andy Lee who himself is a robot and not title material would make the penny drop.

    McEwan. Is. European. Level.

Andy lee was overrated by Steward right form the beggining, but that ship hasnt sailed yet. When he loses again you can say it has. And While i dont think hes a superstar or anything, I still feel like there is more potential there and he can fight better than he has shown us. He boxes well for stretches and then forgets his gameplan. He will probably never be as as good as some thought he would be though.
Bit of an exaggeration there mate, ill believe it when I see it. Im not going to write Craig off though.

Read between the lines. McEwan training himself, gave Lee an absolute boxing lesson until he gassed out at the end of the fight. Sometimes a defeat can make a fighter, & I have no doubt that this was the tipping point. Now Craigs back where he belongs, with a trainer thats actually doing his job & training him! As Yazz & the plastic population would say, the only way is up!

PS, dont forget Craig spanked the man who spanked Andy Lee, boxing isnt always so cut & dried:deal

I think billy you have given a good reason to why craig is a world title contender as he competing in sparring with good guy and is quite rightly going in with ex-world champion which is what the young pretenders do these days but I personally think you need to be or have been a champion before you go for the biggest of them all such as british or european i never ever seen a contender go straight to the world title who has not won anything in the game unless he was underdog getting a voluntery defence . so my point is win something before you put him in for the big one . billy has craig finished with golden boy or is he still tied to them
