So your implying a strength and conditioning coach should work Craig's corner? John you know fine well I'm not talking about his father who's trained amateurs for years, it's others. I supervise all our circuits in the gym although the boys do some of there own stuff at night time as well, training was always an issue with Craig and you know it stop trying to defend the indefendable
Several views now. Unlisted video. Link only been posted here. Yeah, don't mention it, guys. No problem... :!:
Thanks for the vid IB! Billy, who is John? Think you are getting confused. Of course he needs a trainer in his corner. The catch 22 for McEwan in this last fight is, does he take the bout on short notice with no sparring in order to resume activity and earn some much needed cash (This on paper was a very winnable fight). Or does he remain out of the ring, not earn any money but potentially protect his record for something better than may come along down the line? On a side note Billy, a trainer of your profile should be hiring someone who is an expert in their field to work on the fitness aspect of training.
I dont think Craig is 100% sure he has retired , just a comment on twitter earlier suggested that , best of luck to him in what ever he chooses to do
"@CraigMcEwan13: Thanks for all your support but time to call it day thanks everyone" ...sounds to me not ambiguous. :conf
Craig McEwan‏@CraigMcEwan134h @Stuart141079 @Sports_Greats you never know just goin to chill and see thanks
:think I also see he tweeted about having a bad camp, acknowledging that he is between trainers. Maybe he will let himself be talked back in there.
It does'nt seem like Lou DiBellend cares about Craig , shame really as i still think he could do well on the domestic scene and make a bit of cash
In April 2013 he signed a four-fight deal with New York based promoter, Lou DiBella. In December 2013 he lost a Unanimous Decision to American Dashon Johnson in New York. McEwan cited lack of support from his promoter & proper preparation following an extended absense from the ring, even struggling to organise sparring partners prior to the fight. So in 1 year he's had two fights , one in Kilmarnock that he probably organised himself ! Lou DiBella has been hopeless as a promoter !
