Can you imagine the change in boxing history if they full on robbed Bivol in his fight against Richards? It came mighty close.
Buatsi is a frontrunner who fades late Richards jeeps the same low pace throughout and comes on late. If he can come unscathed after 6 he is a livedog.
I’m supporting Richards but think Buatsi wins in a close fight, maybe a late stoppage. Richards is a good boxer but I don’t think he has the ability to plant his feet and get gritty with Buatsi when it inevitably comes to it. Buatsi will be on him like a rash after a few rounds
My gut feeling has been Buatsi will stop him. Richards has definitely improved but way too much has been made of the Bivol fight. The fight wasn't remotely close and Bivol hadn't fought in 19 months going into that one and both E-Hearn and Richards were saying beforehand that if ever there was a time to beat Bivol that this was it due to him being out so long. No mention of that after the fight though lol. That was a 10-2 fight, 9-3 at absolute worst and Bivol arguably won every round and IIRC many on here had him doing so. But Buatsi is pretty easy to hit and that Croatian dude who smashed his eye up was lighting him up in the early rounds of their fight so I wouldn't be surprised if Richards were to pull it off albeit he himself was getting caught way way too easily with big right hands in his last fight though.
