Craig Watson fighting for EU title

    I read the Commonwealth welterweight champ is lined up to fight in Italy next month (8th March) for the vacant EU title against Daniele Petrucci (hopefully a bloke!)

    Petrucci looks as green as Watson going by his record, but he has been 10 rounds a few times, unlike Watson who has never been past the 8th.

    If Watson can add this Title to his Commonwealth Belt - away from home and in only his 14th fight I will be seriously impressed.

    That aint the proper european title is it? Is the proper one not held by Jackson Bonsu?

    correct this is the lesser of the two belts EU not EBU

    apparently winning the EU belt will put him third in the european rankings and so close to a shot at the full EBU

    Yeah so are we. How's richie wellens palying for you. I must admit I can't stand donny as a club I mean nicking wellens of us and also hefferenan, but you can have him.
