I'm reading alot of articles saying crawford is the new Mayweather. Mayweather did fight at jr middleweight against cotto de la hoya and canelo . Im kind of hyped and high on crawford at the moment. I'm hoping maybe he would be able to to fight either (jermell ,Hurd ,munguia ,lara ) so what do you all think could crawford do it or are today's jr middleweights just to big. ??

the light-middleweights right now are huge at the top level. if he was to go up, he'd have to wait for them to move to 160 or he'd be too small. P4P, he beats the brakes off of all of them, but i think he's just too small.

Mayweather and Pac started out at much lighter weights than Crawford. The fact that Mayweather won a title at 154 and Pac won a title at 147 show special they were. Crawford is an excellent fighter but he is not the "new" Mayweather. The Mayweather that beat Alvarez at 154 would also beat the Alvarez of today at 160.

I like Crawford but he looked kind of small next to Benavidez from what I saw

I think he would be a little small for Hurd and Mungia and Charlo

I think he has the skills to hang with those guys and I think I favor him over Mungia but am not too sure about Hurd. I like Hurd and his style, he can be out boxed but I dont know if Crawford can handle him for 12 rounds

I think at this stage he beats Lara

No way Crawford beats Lara. Unless you count him returning to the locker room first, during Lara’s post-fight interview, as a win.

They fought at 152. Canelo looked like corpse. See weight in video

Urban legend. lol like one pound in a day before weigh-in made that much of a difference. Alvarez weighed in at 153 his previous fight. One pound made that much difference for the young boxer? Alvarez is a boxer foremost and Mayweather is a better boxer than Alvarez in all respects and would defeat the 160 lb. version of him. The only excuses Mayweather haters have is that Alvarez was "drained". lol Alvarez didn't use that excuse at the time. Hell, Alvarez weighed 165 fight night. Hearns weighed in at 145 in a same day weigh-in when he fought Leonard the first time and no one makes an excuse for him.

He'll probably fight at MW in the future. He's easily a JMW, I mean he was muscling Horn around and Horn is a JMW.

He should be fighting guys like Alvarez, him and Spence, clearly bigger than Thurman.

He is fast, but he reaches a little because he was smaller than Benevidez and he does not use good head movement. His strengths are his speed and southpaw. But his head movement is not great. He is not Pernell.
