he's still active but we've seen the important part of his career now. i think v highly of him, physically and mentally strong, excellent technique.
Not an ATG in my book. Too many asterisks and hasn't challenged himself enough. His best win is Viktor Postol after all.
I don’t like to rate fighters while still active so I’ll say it like this. If he were to retire today he’d be hall of fame material. How does he size up to other fighters who frequented and excelled in the same divisions that he did ? That would require some in depth side by side comparisons. As it stands I think of him as a hell of a good fighter
Fighters today lack something in their resume older fighters had. We can try and rank them, but how do you rank a guy like Crawford with guys like Leonard or Hagler? Does he have those kinds of names on his resume? Something is missing to put him too high on the list. This undefeated thing guys are doing now is not too surprising. It shows more the level of competition more than the greatness of the fighters.
