Crawford is getting $3.625 million dollars guarantee, official purse $2 million. Benavidez is getting $500,000 guarantee, official purse is $350,000. For people who complain about Crawford resigning with Top rank, i doubt any pbc welterweights are getting $$3.625 million guarantees.
Supposedly Spence made 3.5mil for Peterson and Ocampo. (Don't quote me on that) Crawford is getting paid! And it kinda makes sense. Wasn't he already selling out his local venues back in 2014?
Benavidez last fight he got $35,000 and now is getting $500k. Im sure if he beats Crawford his purses will go to 7 figures.
Too bad Tim Bradley didn't stick around to fight Bud. It's dry out here even over at PBC Spence is nothing more than a bully that rides the bench. He might as well step over and fight Crawford. At least Crawford is fighting Benevidez. Spence fought Ocampo who was a tune up fight. Besides Brook, Spence hasnt fought anyone good.
In the interview after the Porter/Garcia fight Spence said he could fight bums and still get paid good, Crawford has to cross the street.
