Sounds like such a lame excuse. 7 mil to Pac's 20 and this is suddenly too much? Any high caliber fight between a champion and a top contender is usually 75-25 to 60-40, and here Crawford is asking for 30%, which is completely reasonable given his standing in the sport. What the fck happened since May/Pac? A side bs, popularity over resume, best avoiding the best...who else is Pac going to fight? Loma who just 2 fights ago was at 126? Who the fkc is Horn?

Disgusting. Crawford has never seen anything close to $7m in his life but is demanding it AND that the fight be at 140.
This is what you call a financial duck, peppered with a weight class duck on top.

Loma is only at 130 because everyone ducked him at 126. He's only 137lbs on fight night. He should move back down and enjoy the slight size advantage after he unifies at 130. There's no reason why he should be at 135...I'm not even sure he'll even be TBE level at 135 like he is now.

7 mill sounds fair to me, though 6 mill should get it done. A 2 division World champion, king of the 140 pound weight class, and is one of the top p4p fighters in the sport today. Why wouldn't Pacquaio be trying to fight this guy and catapult himself back to P4P top 3 status? Give him his 6-7 mill and get it on!

6-7 million is fair if indeed pac is guaranteed 20m. I just not sure Arum can guarantee that much for both. Do you think this fight can crack 500k ppv?

lol gtfo, I knew you'd be quick to say 'sounds fair'. There is no way it sounds fair. He draws nothing himself.

You got issues man, if I'm on your mind all the time. Do you think that should have offered him 4 mill like they did Garcia? I said before that Garcia deserved at least 6 mill and I'll say the same about Crawford, SOWWEY if you don't like it Mr. Self proclaimed 2014 poster of the year!

You could argue it both ways, honestly. Skill wise, he definitely deserves that much but when you look at his market value gauged from his PPV buys then you could argue that he doesn't deserve that much. His last PPV did 40k I believe while Pacquiao's did 500k. I understand that he's Pacquiao and the PPV king but that is still less than 10% of Manny's numbers if I'm remembering this right. If I was Crawford I would just take whatever I could get since we don't know how long Pacquiao is going to be fighting so this fight could pass him by.

Didn't Bradley get 4million for Pac? Marquez around 5 million for the 4th fight? Not sure why Crawford should get millions more than Tim Bradley or JMM...

The other thing is, when you are fighting a guy like Pac, one of your payments is the exposure you are getting by fighting him. The fact that the very fight itself will lift your brand. On top of that, Crawford will be favored by a lot of people to actually beat Pac....

Crawford should take whatever hes offered, within reason. Asking for $3 million more than Bradley got, and $2 million more than Marquez got, not sure that's reasonable. He should take the fight for 5, get the W, and then he can ask for more in the rematch.

Sure beats him not getting the fight at all.

What's the most money Terrence has seen for a fight?

I'm assuming it was for his fight with Postol, but I can't imagine he made more than 2 to 3 million.

He's not going to see 7 against Manny, maybe he can get some of the upside money from PPV but that's even a bit of a reach. This fight would make Crawford more recognizable to the casual fans, especially if he wins. He should accept whatever is offered to him that's reasonable and look at the long term benefits of what a Pacman fight could do for his career.

It's way too much. Crawford can't draw flies. Good fighter but not a draw.
