Man, you people don't know **** about boxing. Walter's KO over Donaire was way more impressive than Crawford's win over Gamboa.

Naoya Inoue's two round destruction of Omar Narvaez absolutely deserves to be in there. Narvaez was only ever beat by Donaire and has about twenty-six title defenses.

Donaire wasn't 100% dedicated anymore. Lost his fire.

Some here seem to be confusing 'better fight' with 'better win'.

    Walters win was clearly better.

People had said the same about Gamboa before this fight.

    No

With donaire it was a slow decline. He didn't look good for several fights. In his fight before Walters he looked like total garbage. Never once saw a fighter take a timeout twice in the ring. It was embarassing. Victor conte left his camp cuz he wasn't dedicated.

Nobody wanted to fight gamboa. He was an undefeated fighter. Why don't we just ask Mikey Garcia why he turned down the fight w gamboa if it was such an easy fight.

The Gamboa who fought got in the ring with Crawford was not the undefeated, future star phenom and hype machine of years past. He had sleptwalk through his last few fights (when he was active). And Gamboa hurt himself by skipping out on the Rios promotions.

The Gamboa star was way dimmer than Donaire's.

    This.

Plus Gamboa being linked to a busted PED clinic in Miami for purchasing goods from them.

Look at his inactivity, recent form, and the weights... Horrible on all three of those issues. I can't believe people only stress these things when it suits their argument because it seems like half the times these are enough to dispel victories and defeats entirely.

:patsch I wasn't aware of this and for some reason it totally changes my opinion.

However, Donaire actually LOOKS bad when he fights now, especially compared with his previous form. Gamboa still looks as good as ever, he just has flaws that were always present.

I guess I'm saying I was more impressed with Gamboa's showing vs. Crawford than Donaire's vs. Walters. So I give Crawford more credit.

Yes, I just changed my opinion twice in one post.

Gamboa was actually doing OK until he got overconfident and caught, donaire looked like **** for like 2-3 fights now.
