CRAWFORD BEATS ERROL SPENCE

It's hard to say due to the fact we have yet to see Crawford in there with an A-Level fighter. Whereas with Spence he has beaten Brook who I consider to be an elite boxer. Brook is bigger, more powerful, and stronger than Crawford. Brook was able to go up to 160 and be competitive against GGG for about 3 or 4 rounds. If Crawford was to do the same, he would be stopped by GGG in about 3 rounds. Spence was able to adjust and walk Brook down so I expect him to do the same against Crawford a little quicker. I honestly think Keith would be a tougher fight due to movement, defense, footwork, and ability to use the whole ring. Keith also has faster hands and hits harder than anyone at 147. Before you guys start favoring a fighter over the other, please look at the whole picture. The "eye test" can be very deceitful especially when you have not been in there with a guy who matches you in many departments and it naturally bigger and stronger. I know Crawford dismantling Horn has made many of you happy but, looking objectively at the whole picture, we still don't know how good he is. Looking at all the top 147 pounders it is clear that Spence, Porter, Thurman, Danny, Campo, Broner, and Vargas are head and shoulders above Horn. Hell, they are head and shoulders over anybody Crawford has defeated. One thing that separates boxing from other sports is the fact that boxing fans accept mediocrity.

 

It’s a shame Thurman allowed his big fight to slip thru his hands at the peak of the hype.. Because now everyone only talks about Spence and Crawford.. That said based on styles I’m not sure Crawford beats Thurman Spence or Porter(Due to his mauling style).. but I sure would love to see all these matchups including Matthyse Vargas and Garcia.. why can’t allthese guys just fight each other to prove whose the best instead of hypothetical matchups

 

Not on his best day. Spence is a different kind of animal and is more savage than Bud and he's bigger and stronger. There are levels to this. I respect what Bud can do but he won't be doing that vs. Spence.

Crawford will prove to be the best at 147. Nothing against Spence. Bud's just better IMO. It's one of boxing's best fights, though. It won't be easy.
