Cant see anything wrong with deadlifts for a fighter, if the timing of the strength training, form and weights used are done correctly it should aid a fighter. Weights are benificial if done with sport specific s in mind. Cant be training like a body builder or powerlifter.
dont get me wrong,i really enjoy it but ive been put on my ass by guys who dont even train. One young fulla only benches 50-60 kgs but drove me backwards in the tackle. Ive squatted 210 kgs, youd say theoretically i should of crushed a guy that struggles to squat 50 but it doesnt work like that.
lifting heavy unweildy helps if you are big framed, tall and 300+ lbs. lifting 80kg load and lifting it up stairs is hard work, unless you can rest that thing nicely on your shoulder, you are gonna struggle.
i should of DDT-ed him actually but played nice. I feel good man and thats from manual labour. Sure i cant max what i used to but i standing military pressed 76x3 before and thats after hardly any training these last few months. Labouring is fun.
I use to carry 50 KG on a shoulder up flights of stairs on a job where the lift had broke, it ****ing aged me. 80 kg an it’s a two man job, something will go on you eventually. It was an outside lift, you know the type on the side of a building that stops with a gust of wind ? I’d rather the 50kg than getting in that **** again
passenger/goods hoist? i was operating one for a year. i had almost a tonne of weight on it lol, demolition from the roof wrought iron etc. and loads of plasterboards etc. if the hoist was getting repaired it was 166steps to the top. 50kg was that 2bags of plastering cement? if so i wouldnt do it lol, 1 bag is enough walking upstairs lol. alot of people kill themselves at work.
Not a bad pull for a young buck who walks around most likely at 156. Crawford is a beast inside and outside the ring
Its just macho crap filmed to post online isn't it. Boxers should stay away from lifting like that, no point in it for a boxer, and if one got injured...
