Ahh, if that's the case, it could be a 50-50 fight. Manny would have more power and perform better at 140 and even 135.
That would be a very interesting fight. I didn't like how Pacman was hesitant jumping in on Vargas and I imagine Crawford would present a much bigger problem for Manny trying to come in than Jesse did. Him and Roach would have to come up with a terrific gameplan- either sit back and try to make Crawford be the aggressor and hope he wants to engage in a phonebooth fight or pick his spots right with good feinting when he comes in on him. Crawford looks like he's the real deal, but Pacman would easily be his best competition to date. I don't think he's felt power like Manny's yet in the pro's. If Crawford were to beat Pacman, than there would be nothing more to do at 140 lbs. I'd love to see him move up in 147 and fight Shawne Porter or Errol Spence.
Yeah, I think so. Even though he was fighting and handling fighters at 147,I think that 140 is his best weight. He should finish his career there.
What bugs me the most is that even if Pac wins this fight, they will rob him to cement Crawford's name. Just like they robbed him against Bradley. When you fight against the system, you need to knock your opponent out. Just ask Sergey Kovalev...
Pac can't handle Crawford at this stage. Crawford and Bradley are not the same, not even close. Although the fight would be close as hell.
I think the same thing actually, but demanding that was weird. I don't understand what the point was.
You mean Crawford demanding that right. I don't know either. I can only speculate that he feel comfortable at 140 right now. His whole regiment is geared for 140 and he don't want to change anything for fear it might throw off his game, some people are superstitious like that. If he was moving to 147 permanently then he probably wouldn't mind. He don't gain any advantage by fighting Pac at 140. I think that it would be a lot better for Pac who has been fighting guys bigger than what he should be fighting all his life. It's time for him to fight at his more natural weight.
