This man is in the prime of his career, and his best two opponents were Postol and a smaller Gamboa. After taking a stay busy fight in Molina, he now faces Diaz, who isn't even ranked in the top 10 in the division. For all of his talent, his resume could be a lot stronger at this point in his career, given that he is regarded so highly. Crawfird is very likeable, and this will get him a bit of a pass with fans. But at what point do we hold him to the same standard that we do other champions?

Crawfords problem is that he ruled a weak 135 division and by the time he moved up to 140 the top guys at there had all gone to 147 leaving a void of top quality opponents.

140 currently is as weak as I can remember and if Mikey Garcia doesn't move up then 147 is where hes going to have to go if he wants the big money/legacy fights.

Team Crawford ain't too hot on a Manny Pacquiao fight, either. First, they said it could only happen at 140. Then they said they didn't need Pacquiao for legacy. Now they're saying that they want the fight, but still maintain that they don't need the fight.

Your fixation on Pac is unhealthy. They really don't NEED Pacquiao. It'd give them great exposure but long term not much. Still think it's one of the best fights for them.

And don't be a hypocrite on the weight, it's for advantage purposes. Same reason Pac wanted 147 for Oscar but initially wanted 143 for Mosley. Guys do this all the time.

Crawford is the unified champ at 140 he also has moved up in weight and has dominated two weight classes. He will eventually move up when his contract with Top Rank is over because if he moved up to 147 right now who can he fight?Pac Top Rank isn't willing to make that fight and Bradley who is one of his best friends and they wouldn't fight each other. All the other players at 147 are Haymon guys.

I think he just doesn't have any challengers at 140 personally who is there to fight in that division currently that could give him a proper challenge ?

He will move up to 147 in the next few years and will have some real fights at that division if he is the real deal he will have plenty of time at that weight to carve out a proper legacy.

Crawford is like Pac was. He lets his "plomoter" set up his fights. Crawford has been trying to get Pac in the ring for about two years now but Iceberg Arum isn't ready to kick his bottom b*tch, Pac, to the curb just yet and Pac doesn't seem to anxious for the fight either.

Hopefully he's smarter than Bradley, finishes up his contract and tests the waters elsewhere. Bradley got his payday, but had fight Pac 3 times because there was nothing else for him.

He has beat the number 2 in the division and there is not a lot of class options below him.

Crawford makes too many mistakes he is nowhere near the level mayweather was

Pac would spark him even at this stage and bobby knows it he wants pac even more shot

Exactly Bradley has limited options at 147 because he's with Arum. Had he been with Haymon he could have fought so many more fighters. If Crawford moves up to 147 he will end up just like Bradley being frozen out at 147.

Exactly! The only fight I'd like to see is Indongo other than that not really much. The Garcia fight is a pipe dream at this point I think Garcia will stick around at 135 and wait for Loma but then Crawford will have had moved up to 147 by the time Garcia gets to 140.
