Crawford DUCKED Lipinets

Watching Lipinets last night he reminded me of Shumenov, tough but basic.

I'm not a big fan of Crawford but he shuts Lipinets out over the 12 rounds or stops him late.

 

And maybe even not late.

 

Crawford is the most overhyped figter of the decade, he will get smoked by any of Spence, Thurman even Kell Brook or Shawn Porter

 

Lipinets wouldve been a good scalp- probably a top 2 one for Bud at 140- but I can't call it a duck when someone moves up to a bigger division.

I think Prograis and Lipinets are higher caliber than what Bud actually fought at the weight so it's a bit of a shame he didn't stick around, but neither really had a claim until Bud already had one foot (or in the werewolf's case, both) out of the division.

Lipinets is a very good fighter who gave Garcia a good fight, but let’s not kid ourselves, Garcia won clearly and Crawford would’ve as well.

 

+1. He'd have been a good resume addition, but hes not an essential name. He just doesn't hit hard enough to be a genuine threat to Bud. Lipinets has less power than he was hyped up as having, and better skills than he was credited for. Problem is, it's the extra power he'd need.

 

Crawford would've knocked out Lipinets early. Lipinets was way too predictable and when he opened up got dropped by Mikey, who is feather fisted at 140. If Crawford landed that shot Lipinets wouldn't have got up.

Even Felix Diaz and John Molina are tougher fights than Lipinets and they were easily handled by Crawford.

This thread may have been a complete joke at the time but Lipinets would have been one of Crawfords better wins in reality. Not that he'd stand a good chance against Crawford... But his stock definitely increased after the effort he turned in against Garcia. Lipinits would KO Indongo, beats Jean, Lundy, Molina Jr, Dulorme and would you count him out completely against Diaz and Postol? He's a solid operator

 

Not sure why people are so hard on Lipinets. He's better than Provodnikov was.

 

Lipinets definitely tested Mikey last night, and he would have tested Crawford just the same. That said, he'd lose to Crawford in valiant effort and maybe even get stopped late, but Crawford did not duck lipinets at all.

Shumenov is a stiff upright 1-2 puncher and nothing else.

 

That's right Crawfords is completely overrated The only fighters Crawford stopped at light welter were former light weights or fighters with terrible chin or no heart dulurme and it's been proven now that indongo is completely heartless when its coming back same with postal and daiz could have finished the fight but he just didn't have the power to hurt Crawford plus he made hard work of that bum that collazo stopped so wasn't all that great just ok
