Crawford earned shot PacMan on his resume more so than Ovachenko

Vasyl Lomachenko may be the GOAT at ametur, but is vastly overrated as a pro with a carefully constructed path that's already blemished. This is a guy who brought Rigo up two divisions but refused to do the same vs. Crawford, and we damn well know why. He absolutely did not earn a title shot that early in his pro career, and carefully cherry picked a 12-loss minor champ who still schooled him on professional boxing & roughhouse tactics. A win wouldn't have been special anyway considering he had 6 other pro fights at WSB, and teenage Japanese regularly pick up titles with those pro numbers, without a 400 amateur win streak. All these Lomachenko records are smoke and mirrors, facts bent the right way, victories overrated and a win vs. shot Pac around the weight his team balked at fighting Crawford would be the cherry pick on the top.

Bud earned his shots from day one, no hype, was the opponent in his first title shot which he won, and yes, there were tune-ups, cause that's where you gain the kind of experience "I'll just dominate pros" Lomachenko was badly missing vs. that 12-loss guy. Don't confuse arrogance with bravery, there was nothing brave about fighting a 10-1 underdog Salido, we just pointed out that his swarming pro style will upset Loma's amateur boxing.

Let's face it: Lomachenko is a bigger international name, but for all the bad reasons. A fight vs. Pac at 144ish then running back to 135 would make absolutely no sense to the packed WW division, Bud vs. Pac could set up BIG things at WW however for 2019. Crawford is a legit a 147 titleholder, and if you think he isn't cause Pac beat Horn last year, all the more reasons Pac should settle the score with Bud on "his" title. One way or another, Pac's going out on his shield, which he should after he benefited from facing shot De La Hoya, and boxing, and 147 lbs in particular would benefit more if he did that vs. a legit 147 champ.

Wait... Pac vs Loma would be a cherry pic but Pac vs Bud would not be? (Even tho you think Pac would clearly loose to Bud)

This whole ****ing post is just bizarre.
Dude is an amateur legend and a superstar. But in your view 400 wins and two Olympic medals dont mean much.
Yes he was arrogant thinking he could win a title in his first fight(which they tried to make happen but had to settle for the second fight) but that arrogance was earned through hard work.
He also challenged himself early on into his pro career, be it Boxrec 2 or FightFax 8, and he clearly picked too hard of a challenge, yet in your eyes it´s a bad thing. Why? Why is it that when a boxer tries to challenge themselves, some see it as a negative?

You also picked apart a few of Lomas wins but did not do so with Crawford. How come?

And when was Loma vs Bud a fight on anyone's radar? How can Loma refuse a fight that was never offered or even considered?

Lets not forget that back in 2015 it was Rigo who suggested a fight with Loma at 124.
(Loma vs Rigo was talked about for years and it was Rigo who at one point turned it down.)

Why didn't you try to dissect Crawford's mediocre resume as well? His best win is either a B- level Postol or an inactive featherweight Gamboa that he beat at 135. The rest on his resume is either mediocre or garbage. You blame Lomachenko for not moving up 2 divisions to fight Crawford (when he already moved up 2). When will Crawford fight someone that is bigger than him and as good as Linares? Never?

You are biased as hell, period.

Crawford beat more reigning or former world champs than Lomachenko has fights, and among those fights, did you count 12-loss Salido as a resume win you cheeky son of a gun?

Nobody cares about belts anymore, especially when those belt holders fought in weak divisions like Postol and Indongo, or they were paper champs like Horn. Indongo a glass jawed bum held 2 titles, that alone proves that belts don't mean ****.

So how come the entire aura of Lomachenko is built around how early he picked up his belts, never mind the FACT he has 6 pro fights not counted? How's Salido with a secondary belt any more solid than Horn? How does a Salido win over Loma counts for Loma's resume?

These questions have zero relevance to my post which you have no rebuttal against.

Wake me up when Crawford fights someone with a pulse.
