It would have probably been a little higher, people must have got bored by the snoozefest that preceded it (Korobov-Uz)

HBOs boxing audience is bigger. Showtime has made extremely well over the past few years but you can´t really catch up in just a few years. HBO is still going strong because they have put on some good cards this year. These are compelling fights. I am more of a Showtime fan but they should pick it up a bit.
Crawford should fight 3 or 4 more times in Nebraska. Build up that hometown fan base and then make his way to Nevada.
That's a fanbase that don't need building. It's set in stone. All Crawford has to do is keep winning and they will follow him anywhere. Even if he loses an away fight and comes back home for his next, the crowd will be just as big or bigger than the Gamboa fight. The man has star quality.

It was a 50/50 fight, that's why it achieved high ratings. Crawford and Gamboa are not big draws on their own.
