Yes, I understand, but for me one thing is to hurt someone in order to win, and another thing is to hurt someone just because you like to hurt people. You can see that when he has figured out his oponent and he's in complete control of the fight he enjoys hurting the other guy. I personally dont find it enjoyable. I never wanted to hurt anybody in the ring, I only wanted to win, maybe because of that I never was a decent fighter. I'm 100% sure that if you want to be a good fighter you need to enjoy to hurt other people. I have known so many technically gifted and intelligent guys that were just not mean enough to be good. Crawford, imho, is mean for all of them.
That nasty streak is his edge , and I truly believe he takes joy in inflicting pain , he’s in the right business again Bud in 10.
That is great odds, the positive if you take the odds is, we don't really know how good benividez is he could be some unearthed super star, he has all the weight, height n reach(or is that even?) And finally this is boxing as we all know anything can happen, one punch is all it takes.
Benavidez is undefeated so he will hang in there a little and give it a good fight for few rounds. But I see bodyshots hurting him and early enough. The different level might be a problem.
You know I don't know why there seems to be genuine bad blood here. Benavidez started the war of words. Basically saying Crawford is a limited fighter who spams switches and running. I don't really agree. But another thing he pretty much trashed on Crawford's opposition. He said Postol and Beltran are nothing. Crawford is starting to suffer from the GGG syndrome. Nobody can identify any weakness, but they're wasting their primes fighting overmatched guys. The thing that bothers Crawford though is it's true. Anyways I predict Crawford by KO.
I have seen many sides of Crawford but I haven't seen him dig deep and overcome. I believe he has it in him but I just want to see it.
Benavidez has a 6 inch height advantage and perfect record, high KO ratio. Never heard of him either though.
