Honestly as a life long fan of the sport I'm just sick of excuses when yojr guy loses or when you're desperate to bring a guy down a notch. We've heard em all, roids, runs too much, holds too much, squishy ring, poisoned water, a side meth, heavy ring entrance robe, too young too old, weight bully, weight drained, needles make me lose, etc. it goes on and on and I can't be bothered with any heresy as a fan at this point, that's what helps kill the sport. It sucks that a guy just can't have outclassed his peer. What if Spence was shook by the moment, he may have not slept the night before , this fight was a big deal for both their legacies. One guy showed up and one guy beat his ass.

It's a joke. Crawford's a good fighter, but he hasn't done anything to be #1 P4P. Spence was obviously massively overrated. Spence hasn't been in his prime since the car crash. As RJJ said many times in interviews, you don't take that kind of punishment and come back the same. Charlo on the other hand is clearly in his prime, he's arguably at his peak right now. The winner of Canelo vs Charlo is a far better and more important win as it relates to P4P and legacy than Crawford beating Spence. Because it's not just a fight for Undisputed, it's an established Undisputed Champ challenging another Undisputed Champ.

If Canelo beats Charlo, he would have a win over an Undisputed Champion. That's a legacy win. It would mean more if Charlo won because he would dethrone Canelo at SMW, but it would still be a major win for Canelo to beat not only an Undisputed Champion, but a fighter with the kind of high level skills and stylistic advantages that Charlo has. (reach, height, speed, footwork, conditioning, etc)
