Crawford has much better potential Mayweather ever had

But he doesn't have a longer reach than Floyd SMH.

 

Not too sure about being a better fighter than Floyd. Certainly more aggressive and exciting to watch.
Floyd is great defensively and a puzzle hasn't been solved. This enable him to win big fights and have a long career.
Crawford has big potential but he needs to work on his persona to get to superstar status. Plus he doesn't have big name opponents hovering around him like floyd had with corralles, gatti, Oscar, hatton, Mosley, cotto and Pac.

Being more aggressive doesn`t make you a better fighter it makes it harder for you to avoid punches when you come forward Mayweather is excellent at evading shots when does decide to go on the front foot like he did vs Mosely, there`s a vid on youtube Floyd going toe to toe and it shows how good Floyd is in the pocket making reach a non issue for him and no-one has ever had the ability to adjust to fights mid fight with the intelligence that Floyd did.

I disagree. Floyd was the same height with two more inches of reach. In his prime he was faster if not necessarily stronger and somewhat better technically, especially when it came to defense.

 

Keith Thurman has very short arms for a Welterweight. Floyd is about normal.
