At 178 Canelo was suffering a massive size disadvantage. At 168 he also looked remarkably smaller than one of his opponents.

Does anyone remember how John Ruiz used his size to defeat Roy Jones and James Toney?

Then there was the time that ODLH beat Shane Mosley and M Pacquiao thanks to his size. And lets not forget how AJ and Fury manhandled poor little Usyk.

I think that we need to think a bit past size for this one.

Clenelo has been at this weight for years, his body is used to it and his muscle maturity and density is higher because of it, Crawford may be heavy enough and can be a lean 168, but he's just grown into it and hasn't adapted into it for a while.

John Ruiz getting handled by Roy Jones and James Toney is such a good point. Crawford's size difference is nowhere that significant.

Madrimov laid his hands on Bud plenty of times and he has a 68 inch reach, and is far less aggressive than Canelo.
