Let's not go overboard after a win. Emotions are high and I understand that feeling. I said before the fight that Postol is a good fighter, but doesn't stand out in anything. He's like a slightly better version of Algieri. Postol would lose to most of the top 147 fighters like Brook, Spence, Thurman, Bradley, and maybe even Vargas. He'd beat Garcia though. Crawford is a good fighter. Postol is the first step to fighting better fighters.
Crawford is Crawford, he has his own style. He quite simply has a higher ring IQ and a better skillset than Postol. He out boxed him, out thought him, and out punched him. It's amazing to read some of these dumb statements that claim Crawford was running. There should be a boxing IQ test for people to pass before they can post on this forum. That would end a lot of these dumb ass posts.
By the same token it doesn't take much of an IQ for anyone with two eyes to understand why someone else would characterize what Crawford did tonight as "running". Some just choose to stick their heads in the sand.
