Horn was bigger than Brook and even more drained.

Benavidez is a very big 147lber

Khan is also not small at the weight

Crawford is the weight bully? Not Brook who came down from 154 and who will be much bigger on fight night? Its Crawford who is the weight bully???

Neither are a weight bully as they both made 147.

What I would say is fighters that fight closer to their walking weight seem to age better - training camp should be honing skills and working game plan and improving, not a weight battle and caloric deficit over a 10 week period.

Problem with the whole weight bullying thing is that people claim fighters bigger than their fighting weight will be dehydrated too. So it becomes a thing where you pick and choose who is dehydrated and who is a weight bully according to the fighters you like. I just accepted that if a guy makes weight, then it's fair game. If he's killing himself, why isn't he dehydrated?

Not true at all. There's been plenty of weight bullies who moved up and weren't nearly as effective anymore.

Best take all day. The guy (Crawford) who started at 135 and won titles there and at 140,147 is the weight bully on the very night of the fight where he is facing a guy (Brook) who is coming down from 160 where Crawford has never fought. Amazing deductive work.

You used a lot of words to say “I don’t like Bud”

This thread is lunacy. His first title was at 135. Now he’s a weight bully at 147? Where do people come up with this garbage? Oh you don’t like him personally so you’ll come up with rubbish to denigrate him.

It's a funny old game the old boxing game isn't it..

On one hand we have folk shouting "weight bullies" cutting weight for advantages...

Then we have let's say Brook for example, he cuts weight and he's called a zombie, he shouldn't be fighting at the weight.. Blah blah blah..

    Funny old game.

i dont like this system with 1day weightin and dudes enter the ring 10-20lbs over the limit. but as long these are the rules for everyone....thats it...cant complain.
