There's zero reason Spence-Crawford can't be made. Spence don't want it and ducked him.

Arum is DYING to make Spence-Crawford because he could finally start making real money on Crawford.

Everybody wants to see Crawford vs Spence, but Arum is too selfish to do it. He wants to keep all of Crawford's fights in-house. Arum doesn't care in the slightest about what is best for the fighters or the fans.

 

No, I'm suggesting it's not OK to freeze out other promoter's fighters or a bunch of BS. No one should be OK with this crap. The biggest losers are us fans because fights won't get made over politics. Arum has worked with everyone in boxing at some point. He's obviously not the problem here.

Even w/ PCB and DAZN,. we are still devoid of many huge names in boxing. The only comparable names to Floyd, Oscar or Pac are Canelo and it seems AJ in the UK. Pac still somewhat although part time boxing it seems.

Mikey isn't a factor in any division at the moment. He'll probably still get a good fight because he has some name recognition. Only think Mikey is picking is his nose while he sits and waits, wasting prime time.

as far as I had get, Terence did not liked possible purse split. If Spence does have 2 belts and Terence 1 belt, then normally If Spence gets more in purse split.
Ofc we might arque how big sales might be with Terence etc thing. If only sales does matters, boxing business should use more enough well known actors, musicians, even wrestlers etc and ofc YT and tik tok stars. Then does not matters 0-0 or 100-0 fight record, viewership will be very good, income high.

Mikey is in his 30s now & is in negotiations to fight progaris next.
that will be a good fight.
If he wins he will be free to fight Tank Davis another awesome fight.

I agree the political boxing lines & freezes do suck for the fans.

but knowing those political freezes exist, Crawford should have jumped ship when he had the chance to make the fights the fans indeed want to see.

OK..so Mikey got rich off the Spence Jr fight. Cool. It also showed he has no business at 147. If he sticks around, he's a name-ish gatekeeper at 147 unless otherwise proven. Hope the Progaris fight happens. NOt gonna hold my breath for a Tank fight. TOO long off if it even happens.

There's a reason why Oscar PBF Cotto Mikey Pac and others left him. I said Crawford staying with Top Rank was a huge mistake years ago.
