Exactly that's why they kept offering Crawford those "stay away contracts" in every revision sittings they had in ways to passing up more time to up keep Terences ageing process,

These along with many more unknown tactics by Al & Watson are their staple which reminded me of that time where they kept paying double Hush money to anyone Roach was attempting to hire for Pacquiao's sparring for the Mayweather fight, that there in itself shows you just how much true confidence they had in their fighter going into his biggest fight,

Crawford even highlighted meeting Haymon where he mention Al not wanting to meet with him to finalize the fight any further after the first failed attempt, coming up with excuses of family problems, etc & the fact Al wasn't very enthusiastic about it at all, funny.

Hagler beat prime ATG fighters and didnt get have any robberies to protect a zero column...JLC1 and Maidana 1 shouldve been draws at the very least and JLC1 honestly shouldve been a LOSS. Hell, the DLH fight probably shouldve been a draw and that was a very post-prime DLH.

Hagler beat prime Duran and Hearns and probably shouldve got the decision against SRL. He also has great wins over Roldan, Hamsho, Mugabi, Obelm, and a few other solid wins like Sibso and Watts.

Floyd has a boatload of good and solid wins but nearly all of his "name" wins came at tailend of opponents careers. DLH and Mosley were well beyond their primes. Pacquiao was beyond his prime...they fought in 2015 after Floyd refused terms all the way back in 2009. DISCLAIMER - I'm not solely blaming Floyd for the Pac fan being delayed but he was part of it. Floyd also beat Cotto after he got battered and stopped twice. He beat old JMM after blowing the CW and beat Judah who is not a win to hang your hat on.

Floyd's best wins are Canelo, Manny, Corrales, and Hernandez. Hatton was a good win too but he was never a significantly accomplished fighter.

Both Canelo and Manny are ATG fighters but neither of those wins were when either guy was at their top.

Hagler gets ranked above Floyd because, P4P, he beats Floyd...AND...he accomplished more even if it was all at 1 division.

Hell, Crawfords win over Spence is a better win than any Floyd had in his entire. career.
