Crawford is Good but He's Being Slightly Overrated and Very Overhyped

Crawford was a surefire safe pick to beat Beltran last night, I was rooting for Beltran because he got robbed against countless fighters Burns just being the latest, and I like rooting for underdogs, but he didn't have a chance against the best guy in the division. But here's the catch its a terribly weak division, perhaps the most worthless division in boxing, a division that was not that long ago being dominated in pretty emphatic fashion by none other than Adrien Broner.
Still there are 3 fighters that he hasn't fought that could give him problems, Miguel Vazquez, Jorge Linares and Omar Figueroa, how long they'll stay at LW is anyone's guess but they are legitimate threats to TC, Linares has amazing punch placement is a very accurate boxer, who would have only one legit loss against Salgado the other 2 were because of cuts. Figueroa is very crude and lacking skill but he more than makes up for it with sheer power, so he would definitely have a puncher's chance. Vazquez can make any match boring and make his opponent look bad.

Crawford is really good but its too soon to tell whether he is the real deal or not.
Let's look at his recent record.
Beltran I like but he's a glorified gatekeeper who looks decent against subpar competition.
Breidis Prescott was shell of the Prescott that lucked out against Khan. Decent but not great.
Alejandro Sanabria his best win was over Rocky Juarez so what.
Burns was a joke who's best win is over Katsidis and close win over Rocky Martinez.
Klimov featherfisted who's best win is a SD over Molina.
Gamboa was a very small featherweight moving up who looked bad against Ponce De Leon, Perez and Farenas. And he rocked TC a few times.

These are halfway decent wins over average fighters in a weak division, nothing to be too impressed by.

These are the other big names at LW Shafikov, Zlaticanin, Bey, Jean, Nugaev, Abril and Gesta. Very weak.

The idea that he can go from a very weak division to a relatively strong division like Junior Welterweight and have the same success is very naïve.

Garcia, Matthysse, Provodnikov, Herrera, Postol, Vargas, Algieri, Broner, Taylor, Allakhverdiev, DeMarco, Molina, Soto, Lundy, Dulorme, Peterson, Zappavigna, possibly Linares and Figueroa soon, none of these guys are a walk in the park and since he wouldn't have the obvious size and weight advantage he's had recently, his punching power would most likely diminish greatly, not to mention the fact that's he got rocked by a small Gamboa and average hitter like Beltran, means a move to JWW could be potentially disastrous for him, where they hit a hell of a lot harder and are a little more complex in the skill department as well.

It's too soon to think he's the next Floyd Mayweather Jr. he's okay, but cool it.

Crawford is going to be exposed at 140. It's not a good move for an arm puncher to move up in weight to a division that has plenty of skilled punchers.

Here's an amazing fact about Linares for you...he has NEVER completed a full 12 rounds!

LOL @ Figueroa giving Crawford problems.

Figueroa is slow and has no defense. He'd be target practice for Crawford.

All it takes is one good shot:!: Which is all Omar needs. Boxing is very unpredictable.

No one said he would be Floyd, he's not being overhyped like Broner. He won't have to face many of those guys because they're signed with Al Heymon. I don't take anything you say seriously about Crawford because you just hate on him, because you cry about him being boring, and for his hometown crowd for cheering him on.

As long as Crawford stays away from Figueroa's punches, he should win by wide UD. He might even get a stoppage, because Figueroa's defense is nonexistent.

Yup and if he were to beat those other 135 pound guys, his excuse would be those guys were small and weak, and Crawford was ducking the 140 pound division. But yet he would pick them to upset Crawford.

I was messing those people last night, he's very talented, he has amazing counter punching ability a great jab but he gets tagged far too often and most of his opponents aren't haven't been that great, when he steps up against someone who can punch he may be in deep trouble, and he is boring and he hometown fans make him seem more exciting I'm just being honest.

No, you gave Beltran a chance at winning. You can't just go back and say you were "kidding" after being proven wrong.
