Oh, and Crawford HAS fought at 140 before. It was against Prescott.

Well it's in his hometown!!! Them being a small market are all diehards for one of their own. No he hasn't been getting tagged as much as let's say Broner, and when he does get hit he responds and fights back.

I honestly think people are underestimating Crawford's punching power.

I like to do the opposite sometimes, especially on the fights that everyone assumes who the winner is going to be, I don't care if I'm wrong, I picked Geale and Algieri what's that tell you. Beltran had a puncher's chance that's it.

Gamboa has speed and he tagged him a hell of a lot in the first 4 rounds of their match.

Yes, Crawford does get hit, but not as much as Broner. And at least when he does get hit, he doesn't do that stupid head shake.

Well that idk about that. I think it's good enough to keep guys honest, but not something to fear.

I see where you are coming from. But he is very good and has potential to be great if he keeps his head and doesn't end up like Broner. Who was a good talent but his own worst enemy. The positive is Crawford seems to be humble and a good kid who works hard. Broner on the other hand got by on his talents and failed to do the work.

"Hustle beats talent when talent doesn't hustle"...... One of my favorite quotes from my trainer growing up.

He was getting out worked and that's primarily because of Gamboa's great hand speed. But he adapted and took him out.

Nobody's over-rating Crawford. They are just bearing witness to his skills which are self evident. It's not that you do a thing but how you do a thing and when he fights you can see that he is a well schooled and well balanced fighter with the potential to be among the elite in boxing. You saying he got hit like that somehow is a downer. The question is, how did he respond?, He responded like a true warrior. He beat everybody that was put in his face and you got to give him his props for moving up. He's a lion and he wants to move amongst lions. He knows who's at 140 but he didn't blink or hesitate to move forward. He will adjust and claim his space and his crown at 140 so just quit hatin and prepare to enjoy some great fights. He may not win them all but I do believe that he will be a champion.

Personally I like him a lot, Boxing could use more people like him and less like Broner.
