Then no one will ever take your statements seriously, even if they agree with you.

Its not that hard to figure out when I'm being serious, I'm being serious on this thread, most likely if I put any effort into something I'm taking it seriously. On the RBR's not so much, I goof off a lot, IB has caught onto it.

It is crucial for the life of the sport that Crawfish becomes a star. He will probably get FOTY and all the f.l.o.m.s will need a bandwagon to jump on. He does seem like a good guy outside the ring and Floyd fans would prefer to support a degenerate so it may not be that natural a fit.

I agree with you......we need more guys who are more marketable to the masses like Crawford. Guys who can appeal to big enterprise and take boxing mainstream. Guys like Broner and Floyd are boxed in....they have a following build on their antics and people following to see what dumba$$ moves they'll make next.....their abilities and talent are secondary.

He's an incredibly likable guy, who's a good role model, but outside of Nebraska, I don't think he's going to sell well, I have friends that saw him in Orlando against Klimov and were shocked at how dull the match was and how dead the crowd was, not to mention Lampley was having a fit on the air about how boring a match it was, without the rabid Omaha crowds, he's as exciting as Rigondeaux.

He's no Ray Leonard or DLH......that's for sure but hopefully Top Rank can groom this guy and market him correctly to maximize his popularity. If he keeps winning and puts on some really exciting performances that will go a long way......but he has to find a way to bring out some charismatic qualities if he wants to be the next Ray or Oscar.

Quit revising yourself. You clearly said Beltran was going to win by late round stoppage, and you preached that for a while.

You're not fooling anybody, don't be bitter because Crawford isn't eastern european. In fact, just accept Crawford would beat ANY eastern european around his weightclass, you'll sleep better at night. :rofl

Of course I did, I'd look like a genius if it worked out:good I wanted Beltran to win so I publically rooted for him, it doesn't mean I really thought he would, I'm not insane.

Why do you assume I like Eastern Europeans so much? I like all boxers my favorite boxers are Martinez and Froch, do I like EE guys yes but I've done threads on Black HW's and MW's, English MW's SMW's Mexican WW's Japanese, Puerto Ricans, Argentines, Brazilians, I like boxing no matter what country they are from sure I lean EE but I appreciate everyone if they're good. I just think Crawford is the latest in a long line of overhyped fighters I said the same thing about Porter and he was EXPOSED.

There's no need to rush him into deadly opposition at 140. He's young with a ton of potential. I hope he moves up and takes a tune up.
