"Crawford is not a PPV star"-PBC President

Champside and Blue Blood Sports TV will now try to desperately spin this and bang on about A-sides and negotiations.

Spence is ducking, we've known it for like a year now. PBC pretty much confirmed it.

Who cares? There have been lots of very talented fighters who weren't PPV stars, like Andre Ward.

Cardi B is a star as well, but I'd pay to see her box maybe Nikki Minaj or Taylor Swift.

Spence-Crawford wouldn't reach Canelo PPV numbers but who does? They'd all make money on this match, stop the BS and make the fight.

 

If Spence won't fight the the other top dog in the division simply because its not a megafight then its a blatant duck. There's really no way around it.

American fighters are the biggest divas in boxing. It makes it hard to root for most of these guys. Kovalev didn't even get a guaranteed purse when he fought Ward and he had plenty of fanbase.

Spence & Crawford should have got handed over to Pacquiao/Mayweather before they ran...but they just ran off leaving them to fend for themselves. Floyd fighting a stiff like Berto.

Crawford's had multiple PPVs.

I believe the Crawford-Postol PPV sold 50,000. Crawford-Khan was less than 150,000. Crawford-Porter was 135,000. Take all those combined and Spence-Mikey Garcia alone sold more than that (360,000).

Top Rank said Crawford wasn't a PPV star. Bob Arum said that for years. Now PBC is saying it. They're the ones staging PPVs.

People either buy them or they don't. Are you buying Bud Crawford PPVs? It's weird when fans complain that Crawford doesn't get respect as a PPV star and then when he fights on PPV the same fans steal a stream to watch it because they don't want to buy it either.

Maybe Crawford should fight on the undercard of a Rap Battle on Triller?
