Out of Crawford last 10 opponents, David Avanesyan, Kavaliauskas, Jose Benavidez Jr, John Molina and Felix Diaz have never been champions. He beat Jeff Horn for the WBO Welterweight Title and beat Julius Indongo and Viktor Postol for the Undisputed at Super lightweight. He doesn’t want to fight Jaron Ennis because he’s unproven but doesn’t want to fight Spence at 154, but was trying to negotiate with Tim Tszyu for the WBO at 154. Now he wants to fight Canelo at 168, but when David Benavidez called him out to fight they said he’s too big for Crawford. I’m not denying Crawford is a special talent, but this narrative that Crawford can beat everybody from 147-168 is ridiculous and has to stop. Thomas Hearns and Sugar Ray Leonard actually went from 147 to secure titles at super middleweight and Light Heavyweight. I see people placing Crawford above Hearns, Hagler and Leonard, in the all time rankings and it’s disgusting.
Who said TC can beat everyone from 147 to 168?? Why would he have to fight spence at 154? TC won, he got the right to shoose the rematch weight. And who even knows what Spence will do. Tim is a belt holder at 154. Spence isn't. Not rocket science there.
We'll never really know, he only fights every couple of years. He will probably spend the last years he has chasing Canelo like GG did
Hilarious that the thread starter is already gone...................Crawford is as good as advertised, possibly better than advertised. I think that he'll really show something once he gets pressed by another animal. I thought Spence was that animal, but unfortunately not (I won't speculate why he wasn't as it takes away from Crawford's dominance). I think there's a couple guys that can press him in that manner, but only one is at WW.
