The ring belt is free and worth 100k of gold on it. WBC is a cheap belt that you pay 1ook to own.

Yea, no brainer. WBC can keep the belt. Everyone should be gunning for a Ring belt.

Crawford is an icon and a no-brainer for the HOF, but the guy constantly needs to justify himself on social media like Shakur does. It's strange to watch someone do this as they near their 40s. It's a strange dynamic and shows that all the criticism and BS people say on social media still really gets to him. He needs to take the high road and get off BS sites like Instagram and Twitter and keep doing his talking in interviews and post-fight press conferences.

Actually WBC wanted 300k for the belt. They were charging a percentage of the purse. They said they were doing him a favor by charging .06 instead of the standard 3% .

What crooks. .06 is 300k. The 3% is $1.5 million

 

What else is new. The WBC is a bunch of crooks. He's still the lineal champion at 168, and that's all that matters.

1. He's human and no man should have to just 'deal with' defamation of his character and brand without him saying something.

2. Crawford doesn't get on social media any more than any other near 40 year old. Look at all the 35+ individuals on just this site alone who faithfully feel they need to argue their point of view and demand respect of their opinions. And there's no real name or face attached to these comments. So why should we expect athletes/celebrities to just keep taking it on the chin.

Telling a person to get off BS sites like Instagram and Twitter is telling them to disassociate themselves from the people who support them as well. Not sure if you realized it but social media is a HUGE part of people's lives and even businesses. Though many use it for ignorance and drama, but it is also used as a platform used in marketing and other things that people in Crawford's position would need to keep himself relevant and productive.

And hasn't the notion about Crawford is that he does make himself as charismatic and marketable as he should be with his accomplishments. Not we are telling him to leave the platforms alone that he can use to aid in fixing that.
