And he would've lost to the best welters of the previous generation like Mayweather, Pac, Maidana, and Cotto.

    He's still top 3 P4P this doesn't change much.

I don't think you can say that. Bud Crawford performed at a very high level in there, and I think this Crawford beats Maidana and probably Cotto. Could he beat Prime Maywaether or Pacquiao, I don't know. But Prime Pac was at much lower weights. This Bud beats 154 Pac who fought Margarito imho. I don't know if this Bud would have beaten the 152-lb Mayweather that beat Canelo. That would be a very competitive matchup.

Bud is a damn good fighter. He proved it tonight, beating a bonafide 154-lb Champion.

Every fighter is gonna have a tough fight every now and then, especially the best fighters. Madrimov was just better than many thought. This doesn’t hurt Crawford’s P4P ranking at all.

Usyk struggled with Breidis, Inoue went life and death with old Donaire. Madrimov may not be as accomplished as those guys, atleast not yet, but he's up there in terms of ability and isn't old like Donaire.

And Tank shouldn't even be in this conversation (he arguably lost to Cruz who just got given a boxing lesson by Rayo)

Uh... Tank has never fought someone of Madrimovs caliber.

Its dumb to compare Crawfords performance against Mad with anything in Tanks career, for that reason.

And Crawford batters Cotto, let alone Miadana.
    Maidana, lol.

I'm more confident in my top 3 than I was yesterday.

    Usyk
    Inoue
    Canelo

Crawford if you had him in your top slot ( I didn’t) he has to slide a little after tonight. He can still be top 3-4 but he isn’t 1-2 anymore. That’s clear.

Maidana would batter Crawford like he did Broner.
