damn, I've seen it all.... Usually when a fighter takes on a weaker opponent, when there are much more dangerous challenges around, he is accused of being a "ducker, running scared, avoiding etc.".... So Khan, does the complete opposite, turns down the weaker opponent, to take on the unified champ Crawford, and he still gets crap from the fans!! "Bad fight for Khan" "He should have never taken this fight" "Wow what a horrible decision etc"....

Like seriously?? You are damned if u do, damned if you don't!! You can't please anyone these days SMH

Khan is lucky that Brook has put all his eggs in one basket and can’t get motivated for anyone else now, puts Khan in a great position. He’ll have the Brook fight whenever he wants.

This happens whenever a well liked fighter with a punk soft maggot fanbase of weak men takes on a challenge that they feel he would lose.
Khan got big ole gorilla nuts and I won't diss the man after getting cleared like a Scientologist by Canelo AND was winning by the fans eyes on the cards. Fanbases are toxic in combat sports. This is why men should be allowed to fight in the streets without the threat of jail time. These guys are repressed and scared of getting their cabbage split to the white meat so they live through other men.
Take GGG fans for instance. If he called out Ward today their assholes would close up and shut so tight they would die from toxic shock because they couldn't poop. They would be crying about Ward being too big for him and Ward needs to fight Wilder or some ridiculous garbage, but the monster GGG fighting some welterweight or dragging up a 154 fighter again for an easy KO is okay doe. They want the fighter to be an even bigger sissy than them and their fathers are.

Khans has got balls. Look at his resume... It is stacked. Win or lose, favourite or underdog, this guy has always took on the toughest challenges and always took a shot at greatness.

And he has given us a ton of exciting fights to boot.

I still think khan is going into this fight with a win-win situation
Similar to canelo he’ll go in and give a good account of himself and when the inevitable happens with Crawford beginning to time him and put a beating on amir .... he’ll get slept by bud and after that it’ll just be
“Yeh I had the balls to step up and I just came up against a great fighter ... I feel I was up on the scorecards Before the stoppage”
No one will bat an eye lid as Crawford is pound for pound quality and he’ll come back as brave khan who dared to be great
Wouldn’t put it past him to then try and sort the brook fight even if he gets brutally stopped lol

If he wins though ... fair play to him ... the spence fight would turn into a mega fight and brook would look like an idiot lol

He gets that crap because of the big fat elephant standing in the room here, that some people seem to ignore completely.
It's not the fight that people wanted to see him in. The fight he could have gotten instead, and the one people are talking about for years and years already.
Nobody expects him to win this fight. He's picked by Crawford for his name and the big possibility of a highlight reel KO.
Even if he makes it 12 rounds losing relatively wide his stock probably rises.

It's like when Thurman after coming back has the chance to fight Spence (after spanking Garcia), and opts for fighting Golovkin at 160 instead. Commendable, but nobody would expect him to win and it wouldn't be the fight we want to see.

A fight vs. Crawford is a win/win/win for Khan,
No one expects him to win anyway, he's gonna make a good dollar,
and he can continue to avoid the humbling loss that would
happen vs. his chief domestic rival and not many would complain
because he's fighting someone better than his domestic rival.

    fair play to khan.

khan lost a lot of fans when he went through that period of calling everyone duckers in the division and just annoyed everyone.

but you cannot discredit him for taking big fights!

Khan is a GUN and is on his way out of the sport.

He's clearly still lightening fast. His punches look more powerful post hand-surgery by blasting Lo Greco in RD1 (which not even Spence and others could do)

King Khan is going to train like a mad man and take one more (long)shot at greatness against the best fighter in the division and someone many consider P4P#1.

Another big pay day before the end. Win, lose or draw.

And......the Brook fight will still be there for a millions back in England no matter what..

He's got two fights left...and im very excited for this one. However long it lasts. ...

I understand what you say, but here's the thing though.....
I think the perspective is wrong. I believe most of these people criticise Khan (as do I, having initially been a fan but less so recently) because:
    (a) he is a little deluded and thinks he is an elite fighter who belongs with (and is entitled to fight) the Mayweathers and Manny's of this world; and
    (b) probably more pertinent to your post, he has always (in the past) and continues to say he is not avoiding Brook and (even more amazingly) that he is the one chasing Brook. He actually said the latter to Brook to his face post recent fight when Brook came into the ring to face him and force a fight. Yet (get this!) as soon as Khan said that, he turned round and ran out of the ring. He clearly dodged Brook and is still doing so.
