Losing doesn’t disqualify a boxer from the p4p rankings. There’s been boxers who have more than one loss and were p4p #1.

The loss was over 3 years ago and since then, Loma hasn’t lost a round against top competition. The level of dominance he’s exhibited has been exceptional.

Loma can’t be faulted for not getting revenge or attempting to avenge the loss to Salido. They actively sought the rematch but Salido rejected the offer. It’s hard to make a grown man fight if it’s not in his heart.

Bud has a unique perspective and I don’t take it lightly. But there are others who are just as close to the sport who aren’t in agreement with him on this. But everyone has different opinions and we won’t always find common ground. But I try to be understanding of everyone’s opinions if it’s reasonable.

I disagree there’s no arguments to qualify and quantify Loma being p4p #1. The metrics are clear in ranking fighters as p4p and Loma checks all of the boxes

I have mikey garcia higher p4p than both lomachenko and crawford. Not more skilled than those fighters but better wins.

Neither Lomachenko and Crawford brings money to the table. They aren't known by casual fans.
