Ok! Outside of the 3 fighters you mentioned, aside from Pep, nobody has defensive skills like them. You call out 3 of the 4 best defensive figters ever. That's the bar Crawford is measured by? SMFH

This. That switch hitter nonsense would get him killed against Spence or Thurman. Crawford is not an elite southpaw and should stick to conventional. Also, when he trading he was keeping his hands too low for my liking and was wide open to left hooks that better fighters would've been able to capitalize on. Danny Garcia would make Crawford pay for of his defensive mistakes and unlike Thurman Crawford's power at 147 is highly suspect.

no. the damage he was giving far outweighed the damage being taken, he will not fight spence or garcia like that, i guarantee it. horn is not a hard puncher, so if you are faster and more accurate, you look to trade, garcia and spence can flatten him, they will be at the end of a jab and turned around whenever they step inside.

 

His defense is probably the best at WW though I feel. The only argument you can make is for Spence, but he himself doesn't have infallible defense, he lets shots go in.

Too much comparison is made to Mayweather, fighter's shouldn't be held to that defensive standard, that's like once in a generation type defense.
