floyd fought to that end, everything else be damned, he didnt care who walked out, he was not about to get caught. several of todays fighters could be just as good defensively, if their main focus was self preservation.

I don't know who you were picking in the Horn/Crawford fight but, how can people say Horn was going to do this or that to Crawford and not realize how defensively unsound he was. In the previuos post, you mentioned that Crawford gets hit too much and will pay for it when he fights better opposition, yet people didn't realize this with Horn when facing Crawford?

 

I picked Crawford to completely school Horn and I haven't even posted about the fight tonight.

As I have said, Crawford is a sophisticated brawler, not a boxer. He doesn't mind trading.

Crawfart gets hit all the time he is a joke compared to Loma. He proved absolutely nothing by getting a ref helped stoppage of Jeff horn whose claim to fame was beating a shadow of Pacquiao.

 

I think his defense is fine, he's willing to stand in front of opponents to try and counter them which of course means he'll take some shots especially early on when he's finding his range and timing but overall I think his defence is pretty good.

Sure he's no Mayweather but very few are.

 

Crawford will not fight Spence nor will he even fight Porter. Danny Garcia is over the hill, but he would be dangerous for Crawford also. Thurman if he ever comes out of retirement will beat Crawford. Crawford needs another Horn, a kangaroo farmer who can't fight at all, Pac beat the hell out of Horn, out landed him, ref wanted to stop the fight but was not allowed to. This was a set up fight for Crawford, nothing else....................Since Crawford won't fight Spence or Porter, he should move up and fight Charlo or Hurd, or even Golovkin! Crawford fans think he would beat Joshua!
