Crawford Plans on using Gloves with little to no padding

This is old news. Crawford has already come out and said he's not wearing them, but speculation has been left open for the chance he might change his mind on fight night in which case, Horn will just wear them as well.

How is this possible? Don't all gloves have to be the same, in terms of amount of padding, distribution of padding, etc.? Hard to believe they would allow anything else.

 

How can he be allowed to use illegal gloves anyway? And who exactly is he asking permission to do so? Sounds like you're trying to arouse hate from a place that doesn't warrant such an emotion.

 

I would be beyond surprised if Horn beats Crawford let alone batters him around the ring. Crawford is there! Him and Loma are in that place were they are machines. Damn near zero response time from the time they see something and react. Mind and body reacting simultaneously, especially Loma. As Bagger Vance put it, "He in da fieeeld".

Basically horse hair= more force but less protection for your hands
foam padding= more protection, less force.

They weigh the same. Just different material but it matters. It is actually pretty unlikely that Crawford will use these gloves anyway since he just came off of a hand injury but even if he did he isn't doing anything wrong by doing so.

This is not playing around with their gloves. It is using a pair of boxing gloves that are allowed and have always been allowed. Ask ANY person that has actually competed or bought their own pair of boxing gloves and they will tell you this. I can already tell you that there are at least two people in this thread that have and we just told you the same thing. There is absolutely no foul play here.
