Crawford/Postal. I didnt like the commentary for the big fight much

    Crawford/Postal. I didnt like the commentary for the big fight much.



    First off I was one of the fans who enjoyed the boxing. I like boxing matches and Crawford looked a clear winner, but I felt the commentary was only watching one fighter and seemed a bit indecisive, especially when mentioning giving Postal a round.
    I got the feeling they were gushing over Crawford.
    To me the first half of the fight bar the knockdowns were fairly evenly matched, before Crawford pulled away.

    Yea, they were totally biased. It was clear who was going to win this fight before it even started. Calling punches that weren't punches but hooking the head as a power punch is ****ing ridiculous. They were blind just like the judges.

    Presumably you were watching on the TR global feed that Boxnation use, rather than HBO? Yeah, I'm pretty sure the Colonel creamed himself a few times. And not even because of Crystina.

    Typical Bob Sheridan *******s.

    At one point in the second Crawford threw a left uppercut that Postol blocked and they called it. I knew then what type of commentary it would be.

    To be fair the whole fight was set up as a Crawford coming out fight.

    The fight was commentated to what happened in the fight. It was a one sided fight.
    What about the porter Thurman fight? Talk about one sided announcing and a ****ty decision.

    To be honest the whole production was set up for a Crawford victory, not that he needed it mind.

    The commentary was awful, especially Sheridan who is just an **** licker.

    It did have the feeling as if it was a coming out party type fight.
    Many people buy into hype and feel if it is said on TV its gospel rather than an opinion. Im often shocked at how people take the Ring ratings as a fact when its an opinion and sometimes one I havent agreed with or have felt that some of the ratings have been done to suit, but some call it the bible of boxing and that must be enough to them?
