Fat Dan is reporting that Arum said between 50-60k buys, Less than 97k (this thread dedicated to Steve Fox)
They said that the gate did big numbers and Arum said that he only lost $100k. Arum said that he didn't care about the loss and was actually surprised that he didn't lose more money. He also said that he was happy that Crawford got the exposure more than anything.
Hopefully Arum walks his fighters into a better situation than what HBO has provided lately. Times change and the only guy they sacrificing for is GGG. Everybody else has to have big backing. Kathy Duva talking mega **** but she is relying on Roc Nation to foot the bill for this fight if it goes awry. Main Events don't have any money. I remember how Haymon pushed that $200,000 fight **** right off the networks.
a certain group of posters, im sure you can guess which, made fun of how few ppv buys (97k) ggg sold in his ppv. now that bud only managed to sell half of that, making fun of a failed ppv is not as funny.
