Danny and Adrien both turned down $4 million to fight Pacquiao. They ended up losing to Keith and Mikey for way less money.

I have to see how Crawford does vs Thurman and Spence. He would be P4P #1 if he does that. Right now I do agree that Loma is ahead.

That was a good win, a young, hungry, bigger, unbeaten opponent with a good record who came to win and put up a hell of a fight.

Al probably prefers in house fights. Crawford is a great addition to WW, but Al runs 147.

Crawford has the tools to beat Spence but he always ends up trading when he shouldn't. Crawford always gets clipped in his fights. I think that Crawfords discipline when he has his opponent hurt to not rush in and end the fights overshadows how undisciplined he is early in fights when he's throwing combinations at mid range. For Crawford to beat Spence he'll have to make the fight boring from start to finish.

My premise for Crawford beating Spence was to fight off angles and keep Spence resetting every time he set his feet. Spence isn't that fluid when switching between offense and defense. By that logic though, Crawford should have made easy work of a guy with a bum knee.

Reality is both Loma and Crawford are overhyped. Loma was the fastest to 3 titles, but come on the man is 30 years old, the time is now. And as for Crawford is simply absurd to call him the best in the world when his best win is Postol.

Don't get me wrong, tremendous fighters, but not ATG's.

Which brings me to Usyk, the true p4p.

He beat the who's who of 140 when he was reigning there and captured all the titles, it's an incredible achievement no matter how people slice it.

He has a ways to go before being a great but he's beating some very good fighters, Postol/Benavidez/Gamboa/Felix/etc etc etc.

I think by the end of 2019 is when we'll see a true #1 p4p, could be either Usyk, Loma, Crawford or maybe even Spence who knows.

On a serious note you’ve ever seen or experienced being knocked off your senses and taking more punches before regaining full connectivity. The slightest next punch you absorb could mean the difference between fighting another 5 or 6 years or turning into a veggie. Just thought I’d mention that regarding the bull stoppage comment.

Jose did give crawfish a rough coupe rounds but Bud found a rhythm and was outclassing him for the good majority of the second half....hardly close.

He hasn't beaten anybody that stands out. Postol lost to Josh Kelly. Let's take an honest assessment at his resume. It does not hold strong.

I think you mean Josh Taylor, and Josh is a really really good fighter who has the makings of being a star. The problem is atm there's just simply no hofs bouncing around for people to beat, Crawford is beating anyone he can get his hands on, and he did that at 140, 135.

You cannot clean out an entire division and unify all the titles without doing that.

He'll get to the top guys at 147, soon.

Crawford took over the 2nd half of the fight. Crawford has shown a pattern in his career to be risk averse. He generally plays it safe and does not go for the KO. Opting to box and move for a UD or wait until his opponent is desperate and goes for broke. And he's also risk averse in his opponent selection. Constantly bitching and moaning about not fighting a washed up Pacquiao. When instead he has Thurman, Spence and Porter staring him in his face.
