I've never liked his trainer after seeing a Crawford interview where the interviewer mentioned Loma to Crawford and Big Mac butted in saying that he didn't care if Loma won or lost his next fight (he clearly meant he wanted him to lose). This was about 3 years ago IIRC and Loma has always been very complimentary about Crawford and he's obviously his Top Rank stablemate, too.

Broner was the best thing to ever happen to Garcia. Garcia made excellent money and a ton of people actually watched the fight because Broner promoted the event to the hilt.

Andre Ward and Kovalev are a perfect example of what happens when neither fighter has any salesmanship. Barely anyone watched the fight and when viewership is low in fights between elite fighters promoters are less likely to risk their elite fighters.

As for Crawford, my point was that despite having all of the titles Crawford has and his amazing in ring skills his rating are garbage. The only fight that he got good ratings in was against Gamboa and it was Gamboa that pulled in viewers.

If Crawford continues to keep producing such low viewership it wouldn't surprise me to see Arum stab him in the back considering he did it to PAC when his drawing power and worth started diminishing.

I get your point. I guess he feels his skills are enough to get him to the top. Not gonna hate in him for that.
