With all his speed, power, timing and intelligence. His ability to make people miss and then land when hes punching with his opponent is probably his best attribute and its as it good as anyone else, infact Inoue is really good at it too, canelo too, loma and uysk are pace setters and so dont do it as much, they fight in a more dominant fashion, its an ultimate defence breaker without leading first, he can then land more devasting blows then his engaging opponent. Its very impressive stuff and it takes balls to do, thats what puts him in the top 3. Hes a great fighter. But i do think spence could take advantage of that slow start, if hes healthy, spence also warms into fights but he fights in a more dominant front foot fashion, hes a front runner, if crawford doesnt start of quick in that fight he gets drowned, other than that crawford is unbeatable at 147lbs right now. That will be the fight of 2021 if it happens!
Absolutely, it’s something he’s developed over time as he’s evolved and confidence has grown. He used to be a lot more gunshy a la Postol/Burns where he just wanted to secure the W, and his fights were a little on the boring side. This more blasé and aggressive Crawford is one of the best fighters to watch right now. Not scared to take a good punch either.
It's his counters He studies his opponents and is really good at adapting to your offence to find counters over & in between. It's all well and good studying tape and practicing in the gym, but he can execute it in the ring.
