This is the 3rd fight. Sky simply passed on the fight as top rank wanted it to be a UK PPV fight.

Once sky passed it went on the open market.

Frustrated tv execs outnumber boxing fans on this site by ~4to1 to my approximate eye

Amir Khan: "My resume is a lot better than Crawford's. He's unbeaten but I'm sure I would be unbeaten if I fought the guys he did."

Terence Crawford: "We have a mutual opponent, Breidis Prescott, and he knocked Amir Khan out."

    Awkward.

This is not a PPV fight,I hope and expect Crawford will embarrass Khan.

Looking forward to this now. Khan will have a go and it should be a fun watch.

Khan is always in a fun fight.

For his health though this is a dreadful move. Closing the show with a win at a big venue over Brooke I think would have been a much better option.

Never a PPV fight and neither is Khan v Brook or any future Mayweather fight yet the PPV Mugths keep being parted with their hard earned.

This being on PPV sums up the whole PPV scam really. Anyone who doesn't either hate Amir Khan or has a clue about boxing will be unlikely to pay for it but those susceptible to well produced propaganda will likely be taken in.

The selling starts with his Olympic success and World Titles, found a few pages down in the history books, while glossing over the Glass Chin and recent period of long inactivity.

The PPV Mugths then sold a 50/50 fight which in reality it is more like 90/10.

This would be a huge shock if Khan somehow pulled it off - just as big as when Prescott nailed him in one round.

To be fair to Khan he's always been a decent seller, so I understand why Khan v a big P4P fighter is PPV.

I wonder about BT having it though. They just seem to advertise their fights really poorly.
