No don't more than money but Khan believes that the brook fight is always there. It isn't though as a defeat vs bud and a comprehensive one at that which it would be be does nothing for a brook fight. Not forgetting Brook may not of agreed to khan's demands so that fight wasn't a guarantee.
Yep he is, a great slime Hearn is he should be hitting Khan over the head for avoiding brook. Khan is just running away from the fight we know this. It could also be a tactic to force brook take another clause in the contract.
Khan's timed this to dampen down the flames for a Brook bout in the week building up to Kell's next fight, but using the publicity for this weekend's card to 'keep him relevant' and to try show he has bigger fish to fry by linking his name to a P4P star. Problem is neither Hearn or Crawford have taken to social media to give this story credibility. As things stand now, it appears to be just another convoluted Khan duck...
There is no way on God's green earth that a Brook fight would net Khan $5m. Both have taken beatings recently and neither has a title. This grudge match expired it's blue chip status a couple years ago. Crawford is a shot at the title, P4P #1 in the world, ESPN ppv. TopRank is willing to pay premium money for a big name opponent because they are desperate to keep Crawford relevant and get him on PPV. Spence is in no rush to make this fight, he has Garcia, Porter and Thurman to go through before Crawford. It's going to be a challenge keeping Crawford relevant. (no fault of his own however)
