The ref saved spence from a seriously damaging knockout. Pity his trainer didn't. Because for his final 3 rounds he was, quite frankly, getting beat up. Absolutely no sense in leaving him in that long. Crawford is something else though.... W modern day Hagler
Remember when everyone's favourite promoter told Crawford that Josh Kelly was coming for him hahaha. Seriously though, Crawford is the man. Has everything skill wise and a spiteful streak to match.
Just watched the fight. Was expecting it to be close but Crawford completely smashed Spence. Great performance.
Hahahahaha, that was right up there with the Geordie GGG beating Josh Taylor. That idiot is the gift that keeps on giving lol.
Great performance but the Americans as usual when one of their best fighters win, going overboard as if he's the second coming of God with this one win, when many were criticising his opponents for years. I'm a Crawford fan but Spence had 1 fight in 3 years coming into this fight at a weight he's already tight at. I don't think he's the same person since his first car crash.
That maybe so, but Crawford only deserves top, top plaudits. He gave Spence nothing yesterday, no chances, no glimmers of hope. Him v Mayweather would have been fab.
Not doubting his ability, he is a very very good fighter, a nailed on HOF. I expected him to win easier then other people did mainly down to the above reasons. My experience in boxing is that Americans tend to vastly downplay the achievements of other countries fighters and overate there own at the top level after a win.
Genuinely hope people put some respect on Crawfords name now. He is legitimately an ATG. I put him up there with Floyd
Somebody at a far lower level than Crawford should be able to do that to Benn. About last night though, Crawford is the man.
That would mean Benn gets an undeserved multi milion £ payday. Which no one wants him to get. I hope no one signs up to fight him and he has to retire. Little twaat. I know he'll end up getting one though from the Eubank Jnr fight.
worrying thing is he'll prob stop Eubank and he's more shot than the giant shots of PEDs Benn has been injecting
I favoured Crawford simply because I thought Spence was a little too long in the tooth at 147. That said I did think it would be a close fight with either a Crawford points win or late stoppage but the performance from Bud was outstanding. I see people are already trying to pick apart his win by discrediting Spence and it pisses me off that this always happens.... just look at Fury v Wilder as a prime example. You can go through any fighters resume and pick holes if you really want to. Crawford just put on a clinic in an outstanding performance against a fellow top 10 p4p fighter, give the man his full credit. Spence on the other hand, he needs to move up to 154... something he should've done a long time ago.
