50/50. Crawford doesn't seem to have any power at 147 and for some reason still believes he can fight as a southpaw (he can't), but Garcia tends to coast through fights sometimes.
I never said Crawford couldn't beat Garcia, but that Crawford's stopping power looked very suspect against Horn. Herrera has fought at 140-147 for a long time and has never failed to keep guys honest. Also, Crawford has a bad habit of switching up and fighting as a southpaw, but isn't that good of a southpaw fighter. Hopefully Crawford and his team can train that out of him, since he's going to pay dearly for that against elite competition. An inactive Gamboa was making a fool out of Crawford when Crawford was fighting him as a southpaw. Crawford had to go back to fighting conventional to be able to compete and win the fight.
You need to watch the Gamboa fight again. Gamboa won the first 2 rounds and half way through the 3rd Crawford SWITCHED to southpaw and Gamboa did not win another round. Roy Jones said "it was a mistake" for Crawford to go southpaw at the time. However he quickly changed his tune when Crawford started knocking Gamboa all over the ring. Crawford is better to the target left handed but when he senses that he has a chance to put his opponent away. Sorry but Crawford is the most versatile boxer out there right now. He can fight southpaw, right handed, as the aggressor and as a counter puncher. He is one of the very few boxers who can change their style in the middle of the bout.
Crawford's hand and foot speed carry him to a wide decision victory. The foot speed difference here is the biggest factor. But Danny hasn't been stopped yet. If hitters like Thurman can't stop him, I don't favor Crawford to either.
Crawford does not have one punch power. He is a punisher though and he tends to take opponent's will in the 8-10 round or so. Could he do that to Garcia? I don't know but what happens when Garcia realizes that Crawford has better foot speed and hand speed?
Crawford right jab et right check hook in southpaw stance are the best weapon in the game right now IMO.you should rewatch the gamboa fight Crawford started to dominate once he switched southpaw...
