Crawford, is this a joke?

 

Both are decent but overhyped over-rated fighters. DSG is taking the Ward and Stevenson path of wasting his prime fighting B level talent. Both fighters are being kept safe

 

In Ward's defense, he ran thru the best in the Super Six. He has been playing it safe for the past 5 years.

Stevenson has done nothing on that level.

 

crawford makes him look worse then he looked against peterson and herrera.

 

Crawford knocks him out twice and the judges give it to "Gift" Garcia.

I need to see how Crawford performs at 147 before I pick him. Garcia is criminally underrated around here.

 

Normally I would agree but Danny struggles against guys like Crawford, unless Crawford goes toe to toe like he has in the past.

 

Ward isn't "being kept safe".

Ward's situation is different, it's the same as Mikey Garcia's. Except Ward has been squeezing in fights to stay busy, Mikey has not. It's kind of hard to score big fights when you're in court with the person who's supposed to get you those fights. That's what people fail to understand.

 

You are in fact under rating him. Despite him looking poor at times, he won. He KO'd Morales, KO'd Khan, beat Judah and KO'd Paulie (who cares how long it took?)

I think he lost to Herrera and Peterson too but that's more of a stylistic thing. I think we can all agree that Matthysse was better than Herrera and Peterson and he looked better against Matthysse than the latter two.

It's a stylistic thing with Garcia, he struggles against quick boxers because he's flat footed. Just because he didn't demolish these guys doesn't mean he's garbage. Winning is winning.
