I don't see that happening. Not at this stage in his career. I think some may think I'm downing Lipinets, I'm not, I just don't think he's been vetted properly........yet.
My bad chief, I misread your post as those guys being more ready to fight Bud, not fighters that were more appropriate for SL to fight first.
Not at all, no harm done. I think Lipinets is at the level of all of them, that's why I think he should start taking scalps and getting that experience in if he's gonna make a run.
Danny Garcia will come down to 140 (He can't compete with talent at 147) and Mikey Garcia comes up (Crawford is gone and he sees the names you mentioned)
You know what, I forgot about Antonio O. He fits right in that mix. He is an excellent fighter. I saw him fight Taylor and Gibson.
Lipinetz is good but he doesn't do anything for Crawford in terms of money/legacy which I reckon Crawford wants now. He's looking for big money fights against big names
Won't waste my time watching such a fraud of a fight, we already watched a prefabricated fight against Indongo, who can't fight his way out of a wet paper bag! Indongo almost fell down after every punch he threw, he reached while off balance. I knew it would be over quickly, surprised Indongo wasn't stopped in the very first round............It's time Crawford to fight Thurman, Porter, Spence, etc.
The good news for a guy like Lipinets is, with Crawford moving up to welter, 140 is now wide open. No reason why Lipinets can't win a belt, he is a legit... but in Crawford we're talking about a great fighter, and Lipinets would be out of his depth.
